Scott Affelt          President & Co-founder

Over 20 years of experience in the energy industry including: natural gas and electric power; environmental technology; coal-fired generation; analytics, diagnostics and optimization. Opened markets and introduced new disruptive technologies into the USA, Europe, China and South Korea markets.

Previously, Scott was Vice-President at Zolo Technologies, a laser-based sensor for ultra-harsh combustion environments that are integrated into data analytic optimization systems. Prior to Zolo, Scott was President of Doosan Babcock Energy America LLC (formerly Mitsui Babcock USA LLC) where he introduced the company’s after-market services business including coal boiler upgrades and innovative emission reduction solutions into the US market.

Deepak Khajouria        Vice-President & Co-founder

Over 20 years of experience establishing, growing and managing new energy initiatives in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Extensive experience in boilers, steam turbines, environmental technology, HRSG, M&A, business development, global sourcing and operational excellence. Developed and implemented market penetration and growth strategies, M&A and new product launches for new disruptive technologies and customer/vendor alliances to create value and differentiation. Chairman of the Digital Power Plant track for PowerGen International.

Previously, Deepak consulted for AC Boilers (Ansaldo Caldaie) where he led their entry into the boiler and HRSG market in Mexico. Prior to AC Boilers, Deepak was Managing Director and VP of Doosan Power Systems, North America where he managed the regional P&L and led the strategy, business development and local project execution (project management, procurement and engineering) teams.  Deepak established and managed an international network of internal support, partners and suppliers to improve project delivery, customer satisfaction and company profits.
